Cabinet to decide on 49% FDI in PSU refineries |

The petroleum ministry has moved the cabinet for raising the cap on foreign direct investment (FDI) in government-owned refineries to 49% from the current limit of 26%. "The cabinet is likely to take up the issue next week," petroleum secretary M S Srinivasan said. The government has allowed 100% FDI in private sector refineries.
