CAG report focuses on sick PSUs

The Comptroller and Auditor-General (CAG) of India on Thursday asked the government to develop a new framework to deal with sick public sector undertakings and those closed PSUs which cannot be revived. The report, tabled in Parliament on Thursday said focus should be on ensuring better synergy between the various agencies involved in revival or closure exercise and effective monitoring of implementation of the scheme.
