India must focus more on foreign trade with central and east European countries, if it wants to record one per cent of world trade by the year 2007.
Addressing a meeting organised by Ficci in conjunction with the ministry of commerce and industry, and Indian commercial counsellors from central and east European countries, Nutan Guha Biswas, the director in the ministry of commerce and industry, said there was tremendous potential for pharma exports to countries like Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia and Romania.
