Canadian mission in Chandigarh

 Sutherland was in the city to promote business ties with India. He said on the priority list Canada had slotted India next to the Group-8 nations.

 He said a pact to co-produce films, television and animation programmes between India and Canada was on the cards. Canada was keen to nurture ties with Punjab business community .

 The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry said Punjab could offer skilled manpower to Canada.
