Centre for Entrepreneurship Development of Madhya Pradesh (Cedmap) has been picked up as the nodal agency for ‘Minority Women Leadership Development Scheme’. Cedmap, an autonomous body under the state government will promote the scheme in 100 villages within the 10 districts of the state. “The Cedmap will have to promote and make aware the women of minority section of the society so that they can participate actively in the growth of the society. It will also help address ill-traditions of the society besides disseminating information on various government sponsored schemes on health, education and infrastructure,” said Backward class and Minority department commissioner Raghuvir Shrivastava.
Cedmap Executive Director Jitendra Tiwari said, “The organisation will ensure that more and more women will come forward and actively participate in the activities”.
