Cell Firms Back At Tribunal & #8217;S Door

Cellular operators today approached the Telecom Dispute Settlement Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) against wireless in local loop (WLL) mobility operators offering roaming and messaging services. They have also sought a penalty on WLL operators violating licence terms.

Cellular firms said WLL operators like Reliance and Tata Teleservices were offering roaming services through the call forwarding facility.
