Cement woes continue for Andhra

 The price of a 50 kg cement bag in Hyderabad, the major consumption centre in the state, has come down to Rs 85-88 level compared with Rs 92 in the beginning of the month and Rs 98-100 in the last week of July. During June, the cement price in Hyderabad was around Rs 110 per bag.

 According to industry sources, cement dealers in many centres are reluctant to take fresh stocks from the companies as there is an inventory level of up to 10 days sales.
