Senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu today said that the Central Government should intervene in the ongoing Babhli row and find a reasonable solution.

"It is high time that the the Centre intervenes in the matter and calls a meeting of both Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra for evolving a reasonable solution," Naidu told PTI here.

The BJP leader also condemned the behaviour of Maharashtra police while shifting TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who was forcibly taken to Aurangabad from Dharmabad in Nanded district of Maharashtra amid tight security this morning.

"It was unheard that policemen have attacked the security personnel provided to leaders," Naidu said adding that the Centre would be solely held responsible for any consequences.
