Chamling wins from two constituencies in Sikkim

Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Kumar Chamling was today declared elected from both the assembly seats he contested.     

He was declared elected from the Namchi-Singhithang constituency in South Sikkim defeating his nearest rival Khush Bahadur Rai of Congress by 4644 votes.     

Chamling polled 5663 votes as against 1009 votes polled by Rai.The SDF president also won from Poklok-Kamrang seat by 5956 votes defeating Congress's Purna Kumari Rai.
