Chandigarh to host e-Revolution from Sept 23-24

In order to assist the small and medium businesses (SMBs) in scaling up their operations to tap newer opportunities in the domestic and international markets, Chandigarh Administration and Punjab Government with the support of Nasscom, STPI, TiE and others, is organising the seventh edition of e-Revolution 2011, on September 23 and 24.

After big Indian software companies’ remarkable performance in the global tech markets, the immediate objective is to promote the tech SMBs in the country.

e-Revolution 2011 would also highlight SMBs aspirations to grow big, building capabilities, current challenges and opportunities, with a large number of eminent speakers to interact with the participants.

 

The highlight of this year’s event would be an ‘Innovation Walk Through’, a poster exhibition by some of the local companies showcasing their innovative ideas and how these are impacting the world, besides bringing together SMBs from hardware, software, services, and mobile apps segments to deliberate on the imperatives for growth.

Governor of Punjab and administrator of Chandigarh, Shivraj Patil, shall inaugurate the e-Revolution.

e-Revolution has become a unique joint initiative of various stakeholders in the electronics and IT domain including the governments, the entrepreneurs, the academics, angel investors, manufacturers, and organisations like Nasscom, TiE, STPI together to develop an enabling ecosystem for the growth of this region.
