Andhra Pradesh chief minister, N Chandrababu Naidu, met Japanese Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, in Tokyo on Friday.
During the meeting, according to an official release, the Prime Minister said Japan would extend full cooperation to AP in building its capital city."Japan will extend full cooperation to the new state of Andhra Pradesh in its development and also in building the capital city,” he said.
Abe also said Japan was hopeful of improving and strengthening its relations with India and AP in various sectors like trade and commerce, infrastructure, technology, agriculture and automobiles.
The chief minister invited the Japanese PM to AP during the latter's visit to India in January.
