The SIT probing the network of Maoists in Gujarat has filed a 1,800-page chargesheet against 11 people in the district rural court here.
"The chargesheet has been filed in the court in Surat rural against 11 persons arrested for alleged Naxal links," District Superintendent of Police Navsari Premvir Singh, who is heading the SIT team, said. All the accused have been booked under various sections of the IPC.
The Gujarat police had in February this year filed a first comprehensive FIR against Maoists in the state.
