The budget session of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly will begin on January 11, 2010. The Vidhan Sabha secretariat issued the notification for the budget session that will start with the address of Governor ESL Narasimhan on January 11 at 11 am. After 29 sittings, the session will conclude on March 26, secretariat sources said here today.
Sources said that the budget session would be held in two phases. In the first phase, the House would transact business from January 11 to 15. The second phase would start after a recess of one month on February 15, sources said. Chief Minister Raman Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, would present the annual budget for 2010-11 in the second phase of the session.
