Chhattisgarh government has received proposals from four private universities for setting up campuses in the state. “We have received four proposals from private universities for setting up campuses in Chhattisgarh,” Chairman of Chhattisgarh Private University Regulatory Commission Ashok Parekh said.
The commission had forwarded the proposals to the state government to examine whether they were at par with the parameters set for opening private university. “After considering all aspects, the state government will give recognition to the private universities,” Parekh said.
The four proposals are from Amity University, Rai University, MIIM University and O P Jindal University.
