During the financial year 2014-15, Chhattisgarh's economy is estimated to grow by 13.20 percent at current price over the previous year.
"In the backdrop of continuing economic slowdown, the growth in gross state domestic product can be said to be impressive," Chief Minister Raman Singh, who also holds the finance portfolio, said while tabling the Economic Survey for 2014-15 today in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly a day before the presentation of budget estimates for the year 2015-16.
The corresponding growth rate for India is likely to be at 11.59 percent.
