A meeting of political parties from Andhra Pradesh with Home Minister P Chidambaram on the Telangana issue began here today.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, Congress leader Uttam Kumar Reddy, CPI-M state secretary B Raghavalu, PRP leader C Ramachandraiah were among those who are attending the meeting during which Chidambaram will hand over the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee report on the Telangana statehood demand.
The TRS, TDP and BJP kept away from the meeting.
TDP MP Kishtappa earlier met Chidambaram and gave a letter from the party, saying they were not attending the meeting since the decision has to be taken by the Centre and not state political parties.
