CII session on sustainable economic growth

As part of its Annual Day, the MP chapter of the Confederation of Indian Industry is organising a session on "Sustainable Economic Growth through Media & Industry Partnership" tomorrow at Hotel Jehan Numa Palace, Bhopal.

According top a CII release, Industry and business, by their very nature thrive on peace, harmony and co-operation. Media, being an integral part of society, has an important contribution to make.

To deliberate upon these facets of this partnership, a panel of distinguished speakers from both electronic and print media as well as industry has been invited, the release siad.

"The session will try to find the answers to a few questions; What kind of media does India need and deserve? Should the market define the media or the media define the larger market of ideas, values, goals, and information needs both for the classes and the masses? What should our agenda be? How will the media have a partnership with the industry, which is a critical and integral part of economic development? What are the expectations of the media from Industry?" CII statement said.
