Cochin Intl Airport FY07 net up 19%

Cochin International Airport (CAIL) registered a growth of 19% in post-tax profits in the financial year 2006-07 at Rs.37.18 crore when compared with Rs 31.78 crore in 2005-06. The company's board has recommended 8% dividend to shareholders.

The company registered a  growth of 73% in the domestic sector, and a growth of around 34% in international services. The passenger movement increased from 1.9 million in 2005-06 to 2.8 million for 2006-07.
