Congress leader in the Lok Sabha, Sharad Pawar, yesterday said that his party would be taking a decision on the question of joining the United Front (UF) government within a couple of months.
Talking to reporters informally here, Pawar said that the general feeling in the party at present was against joining the government. For the Congress, Pawar said, the top priority at the moment was the holding of organisational elections by May 30 as per the Election Commissions directive.
He said that he would not contest for the party presidents post.
