The government is set to introduce Bills pertaining to the setting up of Asset Reconstruction Companies (ARCs) to deal with the mounting non-performing assets (NPAs) of banks and financial institutions and to amend the Industrial Disputes Act in the monsoon session of Parliament.
The securitisation and reconstruction of financial assets Bill has evoked considerable interest in the Bharatiya Janata Party because it is being seen as a major achievement of the government.
