The Congress has reiterated its earlier stand on foreign direct investment (FDI) in the print media.
"This position has been stated several times in the past," Congress spokesman Anand Sharma said in an obvious reference to the party's stated line- opposition to foreign direct investment in the print media.
Asked if he was aware of a different position taken by a Congress member of Parliament (MP) in a meeting of the standing committee on information technology (IT) Sharma said he could comment on that only after "ascertaining the facts".
