A Congress member today complained in the Lok Sabha about the working of the Delhi Metro Railway Corporation, particularly the huge costs being incurred on its projects, as also the delay in its train services.
Raising the issue during the zero hour, Harsha Vardhan wondered over the failure of the Delhi Metro to come out with separate figures of expenditure for laying underground tracks and on elevated platforms.
He said though the Metro has started a new service linking the national capital to Noida in Uttar Pradesh, a commuter requires a lot more journey time than that claimed by DMRC.
