About 300 Congress demonstrators demanding dismissal of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Delhi government and resignation of newly-appointed Lt Governor Tejinder Khanna for inefficiency in curbing the rising prices of essential commodities, were arrested for defying prohibitory orders in the city yesterday morning. Led by DPCC general secretary Brij Mohan Bhama, the Congress workers had planned to hold a day-long hunger strike in front of Hanuman temple on Baba Kharak Singh Marg, but police took them into custody.
