As the UPA is set to form the next government at the Centre, young Congress MPs today attributed party's victory in the Lok Sabha polls to Rahul Gandhi's leadership and his campaigning on the issues of development.

"People have appreciated Rahul Gandhi's leadership...Many youth leaders have been elected from across the country. Credit goes to Congress party for bringing the youth to the forefront," Congress leader Sachin Pilot told NDTV.

He said anti-incumbency factor did not work in the elections and people have endorsed the Manmohan Singh government's policies.      He parried a question on whether he would be inducted into the Cabinet.

"It is the prerogative of the Congress president and Prime Minister to decide that who will do what job under what capacity," Pilot said.

MP Jiten Prasad also gave credit to Gandhi's leadership.
