Corporate honcho banks on Marwari pride against Gehlot

 Today he is urging the corporate world to give all that money away to develop Jodhpur to its full potential as the pride of Marwar.

 Mahendra Jhabak of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), pitted against Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot in a formidable fight in Sardarpura constituency, in the heart of Jodhpur, is fighting the first election of his life. And his enthusiasm is being fuelled by idealism as well as naivete.

 Jhabak says he was inspired to join the public life by his guru and mentor, Finance Minister Jaswant Singh.
