The special court, set up to try the Satyam case, on Monday sought a comprehensive health report of B Ramalinga Raju, founder of Satyam Computer Services Limited, from Nizam's Institute of Medical Science (Nims). Raju is being treated for Hepatitis C at Nims.

The judge asked the hospital authorities to submit the copies of daily case sheets and medical examinations conducted on Raju from March 31 onwards for verification by April 16.

Additional chief metropolitan magistrate and special court judge BVLN Chakravarti pointed out that no further reports came from Nims on the health status of Raju after March 31.

The judge was dealing with a petition filed by the investigating agency Central Bureau of Investigation on framing of charges against the accused in the case.

The court earlier said it would hear from Raju before actually proceeding with the petition.

Raju, citing his treatment, has not been appearing before the court for several months now.
