Credai meet in Mumbai on Jan 22-26

The Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) will hold its national level real estate convention "� Natcon 2006 - from January 22 to January 26 in Mumbai.
 
The meet is expected to bring together representatives from leading corporates, financial institutions, technocrats and property developers from across the country.
 
It will focus on foreign direct investment, venture funds, retail, hotels and hospitality property trends, conventional real estate financing options among others.
 
Ramani Sastri, president, Credai, said "The real estate industry in India is undergoing radical changes. In such a scenario, to maintain sustained growth and achieve growth, a developer constantly needs to keep abreast of the new trends in the real estate domain. Through the convention, we intend to work out a five-year plan for promoting and developing real estate in the country. The focus of the meet will be on new marketing trends, real estate products and financial trends."
 
The inaugural session is expected to be attended by Kumari Selja, minister of state for housing, urban employment & poverty alleviation, Deepak Parekh, chairman, HDFC and K V Kamath, managing director, ICICI Bank.
