Crossroads, India’s leading roadside assistance company, is eyeing tie-ups with the ongoing expressway projects in Uttar Pradesh for providing the services.
Now, the state government is building the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, while another Lucknow-Ballia Expressway has also been proposed to be developed.
“We are keenly following up for similar tie-ups with the designated agency for providing the roadside assistance with regards to the upcoming expressways in the state,” he informed.
Crossroads is also readying to launch its operations for the retail customers in UP soon. The company will enter the market from Lucknow, Kanpur, Agra, Allahabad and Varanasi in the first phase of its expansion.
Currently, Crossroads is serving over 400,000 customers across 29 cities in India and targets to expand the subscriber base to a million customers by 2017.
Crossroads serves 1,500 repairs a day to both cars and two-wheelers. Currently, it owns 30,000 partner network and targets reaching 50,000 partner network mark by 2017, he added.
