Crude ends shade below $67/bl

US light crude settled $1.06 higher at $66.86 on Nymex yesterday, off the record $67.10 per barrel hit earlier in the day. London Brent crude settled $1.07 higher at $66.45.

Nymex crude has gained more than 7% this week, and has climbed 51% since the start of the year, according to a report on the website of Reuters.
