Crude oil eases to $56.04/bl

Crude oil prices eased further on Tuesday after touching record highs in the last few sessions. The Nymex U.S. light crude oil for May series fell 97 cents to close at $56.04 a barrel.

The metal segement saw the Comex gold jump 60 cents to settle at $426.60 ounce.
