Crude oil inch past $51

Crude oil price in the international market inched past $51 yesterday, with the Nymex U.S. light crude oil for March series rising $2.80 to settle at $51.15 a barrel. The London Brent crude gained $2.30 to close at $48.61 per barrel.

The metal segment saw the COMEX gold shot up $7.40 to wind-up at $435.80 an ounce.
