The department of company affairs has set up a taskforce under the chairmanship of joint secretary Rajiv Mehrishi to initiate action on the recommendations of the Joint Parliamentary Committee on the stock market scam.
The task force will identify the actionable points in the JPC and take the required actions in the time frame of six months as prescribed by the JPC, an official release said.
The task force will also consist of four other officers of DCA with VS Rao director (Inspection & Investigation) as the convener.
