Decision on FDI in construction soon

 The CCEA, which met under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, discussed the issue of relaxing the norms for FDI in the construction sector but could not take a final decision as some of the guidelines need to be modified.

 "The decision on FDI in construction will be announced by the respective ministry shortly," Commerce Minister Kamal Nath said after the meeting.
