Desmond Tutu gets Gandhi Peace Prize

Anti-apartheid campaigner and Nobel laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu has been awarded the 2005 Gandhi Peace Prize by India for his contributions to social and political transformation through the Gandhian values of dialogue and tolerance. This was announced here today by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
