Dfid To Increase Its Presence In Bengal

Department for International Development (DFID) is set to increase its involvement in the state West Bengal.

Andrew Hall, British Deputy High Commissioner to eastern India, said the commitment of DFID was expected to go up from Rs 70 crore a year now to Rs 500 crores in the next couple of years.
