The Hiamchal Pradesh government today denied allegations that Himalayan ski-village project in Manali was cleared in haste without waiting for clearance from the Centre or providing an environment certificate. |
Describing the allegations, levelled by BJP leader Prem Kumar Dhumal, as "factually incorrect", a government spokesman said it took the government almost three months to scrutinise and approve the detailed project report and no haste was shown in the matter. |
The project did not require Foreign Exchange Management Act approval as FDI investment in tourism projects follows the automatic route, he said in a statment here. |
