Throwing his weight behind Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit, senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Sunday rejected BJP’s demand for her resignation. “There is no question of her resigning as the CAG report is not an incriminating evidence against anybody. It is basically an audit body and not an investigative entity,” Singh said in Bangalore.

He argued the CAG was a constitutional body looking into government spending and should not be compared with the Lokayukta report which indicted former Karnataka CM B S Yeddyurappa over the issue of illegal mining.
