The Indian Railway will complete the double laning of Puri-Delang rail lines before 2015, said Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Union minister of state for Railways.
He asserted that the double-line between Delang-Puri would definitely be in place before Nabakalebar ceremony of Lord Jagannath.
"No stone would be left unturned to ensure that this important and priority project is completed before March 2015," he said today.

The minister was here to inaugurate a new train. He flagged off a bi-weekly express train between Puri and Ajmer, which will run via Angul, Sambalpur, Titlagarh, Raipur, Nagpur and Abu Road. The train was inaugurated in the presence of Maheswar Mohanty, Odisha minister for tourism and culture, planning and coordination and law along with Pinaki Mishra, MP, Lok Sabha from Puri.
Introduction of the new train from Puri in eastern part of the country will facilitate comfortable journey to Ajmer, another famous religious and tourist place of western part of India, the Dargah of the Sufi Saint, Moinuddin Chisti, said a release from East Coast Railway (ECoR).
During the flagging off ceremony, the Central minister also gave assurance of speedy and timely completion of ongoing projects in the state.
However, he said work would be prioritized in view of shortage of funds.
