Dow ends up 58pts; ADRs shine

The Dow Jones industrial average moved up 58 points to 13,363. The Nasdaq was up eight points at 2614.

Indian ADRs ended with smart gains. VSNL zoomed 4% to $20.50. Sterlite, Infosys, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, MTNL, Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's surged 1-3% each to $16.12, $49.02, $44.87, $89.16, $7.20, $17.31 and $16.35, respectively.

Genpact and Patni Computers, however, slipped 1% each to $15.36 and $23.79, respectively.
