Dow gains 48pts; ADRs tumble

The Dow Jones industrial average moved up 48 points to 13,313. The Nasdaq ended almost flat at 2571 - down one point.

Indian ADRs, however, tumbled across-the-board. Infosys plunged 3.7% to $51.92. Satyam, Wipro, Patni Computers, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, MTNL, VSNL, Tata Motors and Dr.Reddy's dropped 1-3% each to $24.59, $16.58, $25.54, $41.28, $73.17, $7.36, $21.75, $17.93 and $17.09, respectively.
