Dow gains 56pts; ADRs mixed

The Dow Jones industrial average gained 56 points at 13,546. The Nasdaq moved up 17 points to 2617.

Indian ADRs were mixed. ICICI Bank rallied 2.5% to $49.43. VSNL surged 1.5% to $23.40, and Satyam spurted nearly 1% to $25.36. MTNL and Tata Motors were the prominent losers.
