Dow, Nasdaq slip; ADRs end mixed

The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 57 points to 13,315. The Nasdaq dropped 24 points to 2637.

Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. Genpact zoomed over 5% to $15.04. Dr.Reddy's soared 4% to $16.35. Sterlite and Patni Computers surged 2% each to $26.84 and $16.49, respectively. On the other hand, ICICI Bank plunged 3.6% to $58.34. VSNL tumbled 3% to $32.14, and Wipro slipped 2.5% to $14.14. Infosys, HDFC Bank and Tata Motors were down over 1% each to $41.65, $132.97 and $18.42, respectively.
