Dow rallies 287pts; ADRs perk up

The Dow Jones industrial average rallied 287 points to 13,469. The Nasdaq surged 36 points to 2547.

Indian ADRs ended mostly in green. MTNL soared over 5% to $6.89. HDFC Bank rallied over 4% to $85.22. Genpact zoomed 2.7% to $16.18, and Tata Motors advanced over 2% to $16.50. Patni Computers slipped 1.5% to $20.82, and Wipro was down 1% at $13.82.
