Dow slips 27pts; oil spikes over $69/bl

The US stocks slipped on Monday as oil prices rose to a near 10-month high. The US crude oil futures settled up over $1 at $69.09 a barrel.

The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 27 points to 13,613. The Nasdaq ended unchanged at 2627.

Indian ADRs slipped. Wipro shed 2.5% to $15.72. Infosys slipped 1.7% to $52.40, and Patni Computers dropped 1.4% to $25.55. Satyam, HDFC Bank and VSNL were the other prominent losers. ICICI Bank and Dr.Reddy's, however, were up around 1% each at $47.15 and $15.49, respectively.
