Dow slips 51pts; ADRs end mixed

The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 51 points to 13,239. The Nasdaq was up two points at 2565.

Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. Patni Computers and VSNL surged around 4.5% each to $25.06 and $19.29, respectively. ICICI Bank dropped 2.5% to $41.30. MTNL shed 2% to $6.59, and HDFC Bank slipped 1.7% to $83.04. Infosys was down over 1% at $46.44.
