Dow slips 86pts; ADRs end mixed

The Dow Jones industrial average slipped 86 points to 14,079. The Nasdaq was up eight points at 2812.

The Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. VSNL zoomed nearly 6% to $25.98. Infosys and Wipro surged over 2.5% each to $55.29 and $16.03, respectively. Genpact, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors were the other major gainers.

On the other hand, HDFC Bank and Dr.Reddy's slipped 1.7% each to $111.85 and $16.40, respectively. Sterlite was down nearly 1% at $19.63.
