Dow up 43pts, ADRs gain

The Dow Jones industrial average index gained 43 points at 11,993. The Nasdaq slipped eight points to 2337.

Indian ADRs mostly ended with gains. Patni Computers soared over 5% to $21.31. ICICI Bank, MTNL and Dr.Reddy's surged 2-3% each to $33.66, $6.98 and $16.14, respectively. Infosys slipped over 1% to $51.
