The meeting of the lenders of the Enron-promoted Dabhol power project, which was scheduled for November 2 and 3 at London, has been cancelled.
This was supposed to be the last meeting of the lenders before the November 19 deadline by which the Dabhol Power Company is required to fire its final termination notice.
Sources in the domestic as well as global lenders consortium confirmed the cancellation of the meeting but gave conflicting reasons for the same.

Some domestic lenders maintained that the meeting was only postponed as a solution to the Dabhol problem was in sight.
