A London-based information technology company has a solution to school students carrying heavy load of books on their back to school--- the E-book Reader.

In the E-book Reader, a small electronic hand-held device manufactured in Taiwan under a tie-up with the London-based Ashtel Group, all the text books of a class upto 10 lakh pages could be downloaded from a personal computer/Internet and stored. The pages/chapters can called out on the 6.5-inch diagonal LCD screen. Matter in any language that can be used in the personal computer could be stored in the E-book Reader.
