India worked in close partnership with the World Bank to improve our position, says NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant. He tells Dilasha Seth that instead of criticising the ranking method, the government decided to carry out critical structural reforms and ranked states. He says India must try to get into the top 50 rankings by focusing on weak areas. Edited excerpts
